20080127_12.jpgwith Honorary Consul General of Japan in San DiegoWe were very honored to have Dr. Inoue, Honorary Consul General of Japan in San Diego, as our special guest. In his opening speech, he interacted with abacus students, asking what Abacus means to them, how they relate to Abacus, etc. He also shared important views on Abacus in relation to human history and culture. He emphasized that Abacus's been the essential part of education in Asian countries, and not only it's been very effective and beneficial to human lives, but also it's contributed to cultural development and exchange amongst many countries. He also encouraged students to continue studying Abacus to enhance their academic skills and especially to become a bridge to the world of peace.
