081908_03.jpgClassroomAfter the group demonstration, we were asked to teach 3 classes of 6-7th graders. We only had 2 big teacher's abacuses, so we divided the 3rd class into half and asked them to join the other 2. Mr. Yabuki took the lead of 1 class, and I (Tomoko) took the other. In this classroom, we reviewed what Mr. Yabuki taught the students at demonstration before getting into the fun stuff of actually touching and using Abacus!

081908_04.jpgLet's try AbacusMueller students were paired up with Japanese Abacus students and they started learning how to use Abacus. At first, they weren't sure how to communicate well, but soon they were immersed into the Abacus exercises.
